Small Mac apps with a one-time purchase
Lokal’s Mac collection includes a database client, a screenshot tool, a to-do list, a movement alarm and, coming soon, a touch-typing course. Each is a focused utility with a one-time price of about $5, no subscription and no account.
Pick the utility for your workflow
Tabel is a database client for PostgreSQL and SQLite. Snup puts a screenshot in the clipboard with one shortcut. Anoto presents yesterday and today in a calm to-do list. Don’t Touch sounds an alarm when someone touches your Mac. Tifinger (coming soon) teaches touch typing on your own keyboard layout, with lessons, a typing test and a game.
Know what local means for a desktop utility
Local describes where the app runs and where its own processing happens. It does not stop a database client connecting to the database you choose. Likewise, an alarm is a deterrent, not a guarantee against theft or a replacement for locking your Mac.
